Thinking Outside the Box with Vinyl Wall Lettering

           Die cut vinyl wall lettering and graphics are not just for home interior painted walls. With so many quotes being very motivational and inspiring it is not surprising that vinyl wall lettering has become a great solution for decorating your office or working spaces.

        Speaking of decorating office spaces take a look at the artistic ways that Michael E. Schoonover used vinyl lettering and posters to decorate the office space where he works. I think he did an excellent job at thinking outside the box to achieve these effects and I'm not the only one to think so since he mentioned that his boss loved what he was doing and decided he needed to decorate some more offices around the campus! Way to go Michael!

      First off he ordered this motivational Attitude wall quote in a huge size. I think the large size just seems to get the message across in volumes and I would think that an employee would carry that thought with them the whole day since, because of the size, it is hardly overlooked when stepping into the office.

        Next we have his Star Wars themed wall décor. I just love how he cut out the Yoda poster, made it 3D and then added the staggered wall lettering beside it. On the Princess Lea poster he actually applied the vinyl lettering to the poster. It may be hard to see in this picture but he went with black lettering in the upper right corner because he was wanting a very subtle effect and he said it is working great that way.

       Now for my favorite, of course I am a hopeless romantic so no wonder I would love this one. Again Michael applied the vinyl lettering directly to the poster and made the poster 3D to give it a bit of a painted canvas look I think. The poster chosen and the quote go so perfectly together, love the combination!

      I know I'm already shopping for posters to make some of these for my home, already got my mind thinking of a wooded forest path poster with “The Road Not Taken” poem on it.

Give a Girl the Correct Footwear

Correct Footwear Vinyl Wall Quote

Give a girl the correct footwear and she can conquer the world! 

That is such a great quote but there is some debate of who actually said it. Some people accredit it to Bette Midler while others say Marylin Monroe said it. There is also another variant that goes "Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world." 

       We have that quote available as a vinyl wall lettering design in our store, Walls That Talk, and until recently we used a high heel as the highlighted footwear. A simple question from a customer opened up a whole new line of "correct footwear"! We were contacted by a customer wanting to know if we could do a different shoe and I told her that we could, and then asked what type of shoe she had in mind. She was wanting to see a cowboy boot or, even better, a firefighter boot since she was a firefighter and it was hard to find girlie stuff for that. So as I'm drawing a design to accommodate her request I'm thinking of all the other shoes that are out there and that maybe a whole line of footwear choices would be a great idea! Here is what we came up with for her request!

 

  As you can see we now offer a choice of footwear to go with the quote! You can choose the high heel, the running sport shoe, the ballerina dancing slippers, a cowgirl boot and or the firefighter boot! Wonder if there is another type of shoe to be added to the collection?

Vinyl Family Tree Kit is a Bargain

  This week our blogging theme at ESN is to write about a BARGAIN and have I got a bargain for you. (How come I suddenly feel like a used car salesman?) Have you seen those cut vinyl wall graphics of a really tall tree, at least 5 feet tall, with lots of branches and leaves and costs at least $100 bucks or more? Yes they are expensive because they use a lot of materials to cover that much space but our alternative to that "look" is our NEW Family Tree Kit. At less than half the cost of those big trees you can get the look of a full tree using your own photos and placing the branches and other pieces included in the kit to fill the area out. If you have a big wall above your sofa this arrangement would be great! I created the sample arrangement and the area of space that it fills is 57 inches wide by 54 inches tall.

  Still need a tall tree, no problem, just arrange your photos and pieces of the Family Tree Kit and you have a tree arrangement that covers a space 74 inches tall by 34 inches wide! (as shown below)
