Vinyl wall lettering is a great way to decorate your house inexpensively but it is not just for walls! Here's a project we did on a couple of small tables by using some stone paint and some cut vinyl graphics. We recently found some awesome spray stone paint from Wal-Mart and it is great for refurbishing lots of things! Hubby is hoping I will run out of stuff for him to paint but that is not likely to happen since he is still in major trouble over my rug - well at least that is what I lead him to believe.
Here's the before picture of the table:
Now we grab some of this textured Stone spray paint.
We painted the top a dark brown and let it cure for one week.
Then we cut our vinyl graphic and installed it over the painted surface. Doesn't it look alot better!
Now you can see that cut vinyl will work on other surfaces other than walls and glass. If you can imagine it - it can be done! Be sure to stop by our store,
Walls That Talk, and look over our pre-designed vinyl graphics, maybe something will inspire your creative talents!
Happy decorating.
What a wonderful project! Sharing on fb :D
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I've used stone paint on planters; but, not on furniture. Love the idea of adding the cut vinyl graphics.
ReplyDeleteThis is great. I can see that I am going to be keeping my husband busy this winter.
